Hi! I am Monica McClelland a certified Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioner (FDN-P) and I specialize in digestive disorders and anxiety. I struggled with chronic IBS/SIBO and anxiety for my entire childhood and into adulthood before finding functional and holistic solutions.
My passion is finding solutions to digestive problems beyond diet and supplementation. I facilitate proactive stress reduction through nervous system retraining, energetic balancing and addressing physical stress in my method called Mind Your Gut.
I believe that in order to bring balance to the body all health choices must assist the body's innate capacity to heal. My mission is to help people discover their intuition and the power they have to heal themselves while utilizing the right tools.
I have completed the SIBO Mastery Course by Dr. Nirala Jacobi and Herbal Medicines for the Microbiota by Dr. Hawrelak. I am trained and certified in Qi-Gong, acupressure, somatic therapies, and pilates and I am a retired professional dancer. I wrote the e-book The Holistic Healing Guidebook for SIBO, IBS and Gut Dysfunction and the host of The Mind Your Gut Podcast.
I believe that healing should be a freeing, intuitive and exploratory process and when the right perspective and tools are implemented long-term digestive bliss is possible!
